Dear Friends of the Free Congress Foundation:

The Board of Directors of the Free Congress Foundation recently appointed me to serve as the new President and CEO of the Foundation. This e-mail is to inform you that I plan to keep in touch, and work with you to further conservative problem solving for the United States. This is an important moment for the nation, and the Free Congress Foundation must be a voice in current public policy discussions.

I am a life-long conservative who applied conservative principles to governing in elective office. Also, I serve on the national Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association. I have attached my curriculum vitae and a recent article published in the Washington Times announcing my recent appointment...

FREE CONGRESS ANNOUNCES THE PUBLICATION OF THE NEXT CONSERVATISM

Free Congress announces the publication of The Next Conservatism, authored by the late Paul M. Weyrich and his colleague at Free Congress, William S. (Bill) Lind. The late Mr. Weyrich felt an obligation to write this book as he perceived that the pendulum was swinging away from the conservatives as the movement with ideas.

He realized that conservatives were perceived as fighting the last war. In his view, many conservatives appeared to be tired, their ideas exhausted. The authors rightly concluded that conservatives lacked an agenda. For that reason, the late Mr. Weyrich and Mr. Lind penned the next agenda for conservatives and they have produced a compelling treatise. It presents the movement with new ideas. The book is now available and can be ordered from St. Augustine’s Press, South Bend, IN [go to the St. Augustine website at www.staugustine.net/next%20conservatism.html . You can order online from this page by clicking on Add this Book to Cart or by mail by clicking on Print Out, fax or mail your order.
